KAMPALA: The kingdom of Buganda determination to strengthen its education systems among its founded educational facilities continues to yield positive fruits and that is how both Lubiri high school main campus and her little neighbor Nabagereka primary school recently impressed many during the kingdom music dance and drama festival.
The head teacher Lubiri high school Immaculate Nampijja told elgon daily news during an exclusive interview at her school located inside the Mengo Lubiri kingdom Royal palace that her school with Nabagereka primary school also located within the same palace were declared and crowned as 1st runners up during the recently Buganda Royal arts festival [BRESHFEST 2019] by the Kabaka himself.
The Kabaka reportedly thanked the leadership of these two schools for surprisingly performing very well and urged them to remain focused as the sky was the limit.
Nampijja noted that their excellent performance stemmed from team work among the teachers at these two sister schools of which helped them to do a good job worth winning a Royal handshake from the king .
She thanked the boards of the two schools for both the moral and financial support of which enabled them to excel saying almighty Lord should reward all abundantly.
The kingdom minister of education Dr.Prosper Nankindu during the ceremony observed that they would continue to encourage schools within the kingdom to ensure the students participate in all extra curricular disciplines as a vehicle to expose their hidden talents.
