Govt lauds pay way services

KAMPALA: The government has congratulated PayWay Company for being in the front seat in offering high quality digital payments solutions services to the population alongside creating hundreds of jobs.

The remarks were yesterday made by the state minister for trade Hon. Michael Gafabusa Werikhe while reacting to news that Pay Way was celebrating ten years in the field of service.

The minister also MP for Bungokho south constituency in Mbale district said such investors continue making the country proud because of the new innovations they bring along in the field of business saying his ministry would support such companies to help them achieve their desired targets.

Pay Way on Monday formerly joined the rest of the world to celebrate their unreserved ten years of excellent service delivery to the population during a colourful breakfast event for officials from the corporate community that was held at Sheraton hotel graced by over 60 top level CEOs.

The PayWay CEO Mr. Kirill Grebennikov  with his team used the occasion to launch their brand new Pay Way digital payments solutions wallet were customers can use as a one financial card to access a variety of financial services like paying utility bills, shopping, settling debts and huge scale events digital  ticketing services among so many solutions.

The head of finance at PayWay Dan. Lubogo demonstrated to the guests how the various digital financial payment tools work of which difference across board was efficiency, reliability and affordability.
