Rajiv urges youth to work hard in new year

The youth who comprise the biggest population and labour force in the country has been urged to ensure that they find some meaningful and gainful work that earns them an income at the end of each month.
The call has been made Rajiv Ruparelia a top young business tycoon in the city who manages a franchise of business companies.

He told Elgon daily business desk last week that it was important that the youth are guided to take lead in trying to identify some work so that they can work and expect an income at the end of the month.
Rajiv observed that young students with talents can approach their Victoria University to access bursaries so that they can effectively acquire practical skills that can enable them create own jobs as opposed to looking at the government for jobs.
‘We wish to encourage the youth that they have all the potential it takes to become successful citizens however the decision of one choosing to remain poor or rich depends on each individual however our stand is that those with exceptional talents can visit our Victoria University along Jinja road and may win themselves a bursary to study and become a job creator of all times’ observed Rajiv.
He revealed that his Ruparelia family business franchise of companies has a workforce of over 10, 000 people of whom they have given jobs and do expect them to work harder in 2020 because many challenges are awaiting them.
He commended them for the great work done over the last one year saying they have achieved more and urged them to fresh up to do more in the New Year.
He noted that they scored more achievements alongside challenges but said the group appreciated the government for giving them the opportunity to host the high level commonwealth parliamentary conference exclusively among so many at Munyonyo commonwealth Resort and Speke Resort Munyonyo.
PROMOTING YOUNG TALENTS;Kids from Hope for Katanga kids entertaining guests during a recent function in Kampala, many such youth depend on music shows to earn school fees of which helps them study and move forward as successful citizens of society.
Rajiv also used the opportunity to thank all companies and organisations local, regional and global for giving them business.
He observed that the group had been instrumental in putting up many infrastructure projects like opening of the Kampala boulevard tower, hardware plaza in Nakasero, Kingdom Kampala mall and speke apartments Kitante and Wampeewo facilities among others.
