The government has commended the leadership of Yiwu China San Cargo Company for donating food towards the fight against the Covid19 pandemic.

While handing over a total of 750 kgs  of high quality maize flour to the minister of general duties in the office of the prime minister Hon.Mary Karooro Okurut recently, the company representatives Muwonge Ibrahim and Sauna Patrick said they were responding to the presidential appeal.

Kaorooro who was flanked by his fund chairman Eng.Emmanuel Katongole noted that such companies that respond to calls of this nature need to be saluted because it was not easy to arrive` at such a decision to donate.

Muwonge told minister Okurut that their company deals in cargo transportation and handling services at inland container depots (ICD)in the country which was pleased to be part of those people grieving with those affected and infected by the  deadly corona virus by extending a humble donation of 750kgs of high quality maize flour to government.

He noted that their company would continue working with various government agencies and the private sector community  in supporting the fight against the Covid19 pandemic and also urges the public to stay at home, stay safe, observe the social distancing guidelines of the ministry of health with washing hands at all times.

Turning to the business angle, Muwonge urged the trading communities to enlist or work with San cargo because they have the necessary capacity and capability in ensuring that they securely transport and deliver cargo from any point around the world to any desired destination.
