Serena hotels donate 30m/= worth food to Covid19

KAMPALA

As more companies and organisations continue to extend donations towards the fight against the now entrenched corona virus as requested by president Museveni, Serena hotel has stood out to be counted.

Just recently the hotel top management team led by its general manager Mr. Anthony Chege handed over  their  humble donation of an assortment of foods worth 30M/= to government.

Mr. Chege noted that Serena hotels with branches in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Mozambique and Uganda are willing and ready to support the government in her concerted efforts in fighting the Covid19 pandemic which has destroyed the hospitality industry entirely.

The  Prime Minister Ruhakana Rugunda flanked by his deputy Mary Karooro Okurut in appreciation to the gesture thanked Serena hotels for the donation and urged more such players to emulate them as the fight moves on.
