NRM party hands over voter registers, warns of violence

The national resistance movement political party has today officially handed over its official voter registers to their electoral commission from over 68,734 villages across the country.
Richard Todwong on behalf of the party secretary general Lumumba told the a news conference at plot 10 Kyadondo road Nakasero that the party would disqualify anybody found to be acing in acts such violence, rigging or any form of manipulation during the upcoming political activities starting with nominations.

Tango Odoi had eelier told the media at his office that picking of nomination papers for both party national offices and regional representatives kicked off Monday 20th while those for members of parliament begin on Friday 24 July.
