Awor Angweri Moves to take Lira woman House slot

The aspiring Lira district woman parliamentary candidate in NRM ticket Awor Sarah Angweri 38 has said she has come forward to contest for the slot because many gaps in as far as development in Lira district now city had not been realized and she strongly feels she has all it takes turn issues for the better.

Sarah told this website yesterday in Kampala shortly after picking nomination forms to contest in the forthcoming NRM primaries for Lira district woman legislater 2021 that as a professional teacher and IT specialist, she has the capacity and ability to effectively represent the people of Lira district in parliament for better results.
She noted that she had been instrumental in setting up the Unlimited youth Cooperative group Lira were they encourage farmers to sell produce to the group and later the produce sold at better prices when the prices stabilizes for a good profit to the farmers.
‘I want to ensure that once am voted into parliament, my cardinal responsibility would be to lobby friends to bring big investment projects to the entire Lango sub region because the people at home are determined to work hard but had not got that special person to lobby the right investors for the best outcomes’ she pointed out.
She observed that issues of gender based violence among the communities was on the increase of which she said initiatives had been undertaken to sensitize the parents, girls and husbands about the need to respect and protect the rights of the women in totality.
