Bishop Olwa lauds Dr.Mutto over new book, urges public on reading culture

The Bishop of Lango diocese Church of Uganda Rt. Rev.Prof. Alfred Olwa has congratulated his longtime friend Dr.Milton Mutto for being an innovative man who went on record by publishing his own book enriched with strong biblical and human interest messages that discuss many issues affecting Uganda during this generation.
Prof.Olwa sounded his words of gratitude on Saturday at Protea hotel in Kololo were he officiated as key note speaker during the official launch of a 322 page book authored by Dr.Mutto titled ‘the prized piece at Jubilee’ which was broadcast live on NTV Uganda with analysts saying it was full of powerful messages that once adopted by the public can greatly help in the transformation of society.
‘We take this singular honor and gratitude to thank and congratulate Dr.Milton Mutto for his God given wisdom that positively enabled him to think about putting together his collections in a book of which many people can now read and convert those messages to transform society’ noted Prof.Olwa whp doubles as the chairman Uganda Christian University [UCU] governing council.

The permanent secretary ministry of science, technology and innovation Mr.Obong O.O David urged the general public to positively inculcate a culture of reading books because it is a whole knowledge bank that they can use to develop their immediate communities.
Mr.Obong said government need to recognize such intellectuals like Dr.Mutto for innovatively putting their strategic research findings in books of which can be accessed by many people around the world.

Dr.Mutto who is an epidemiologist by training and also director of the Lukuli Nanganda based Pincer training and research Institute in Makindye division thanked all stakeholders that made it possible for his dear dream of publishing the book come to pass and he strongly believes that God guided him to write the book which goes for 80K at source while in the open market costing 100K saying the public should support him by buying the books especially institutions undertaking research projects, scholars and the general student community.
