Ruparelia foundation builds Good Samaritan school eco-toilet facility

The Good Samaritan primary school community y of East Nsooba in Mulago Kawempe division are all smiles after the Ruparelia foundation fulfilled their promise of constructing for them a modern eco- stance toilet facility as a deliberate strategy of improving the sanitation environment of the school.
The facility which was constructed from funds raised in the previous popular goat race event which race was aimed at promoting hygiene among slums of Nsooba village community was officially handed over to the school leadership by the foundation trustee boss Mr.Rajiv Ruparelia.
Rajiv pointed out that as a foundation they are committed to ensuring that Good Samaritan school with a pupil population of over 500 got better sanitation facilities as a deliberate strategy of fighting water borne diseases.
TIMELY INTERVENTION; The donation by Ruparelia foundation would go a long way in improving the sanitation status of the school community which had challenges of proper toilet facilities in the recent past.
He said they are optimistic that the school management would ensure that the facility as put to proper use and use the opportunity to encourage the learners who likely to resume schooling next week to strictly observe the ministry of health corona virus measures by washing hands regularly, keeping social distance and wearing a mask at all times for the own good.
The leaders of Kawempe division thanked the foundation bosses for that timely gesture of support especially supporting a program like hygiene that benefits many people saying that good heart of returning to the communities should emulated by others for the good of mankind. The foundation is known for her open heart in supporting vulnerable communities especially women, youth, children and older persons who are less privileged in society
